The Department of Management Studies was established in the year 2008, with the objective to provide the aspiring managers a platform to learn the art of managing. The necessary infrastructure (including well-equipped classrooms, computer lab with internet facility etc.) has been put in place in the Department needed to develop the students into professional managers. The Department provides various Specializations to students like; Marketing Management, Human Resources Management, Financial Management, and Information Technology. The qualified faculty having specializations in different fields of Management are the important assets of the Department. Besides the classroom teaching, emphasis is also laid on the overall personality development of the students. The learned faculty of the Department involves the students in Business Clubs frequently; the focus of which is to develop the overall personality of the students. The Students are engaged in role plays, presentations, business Games, business documentaries, group discussions on contemporary issues and alike. In order to equip the students with real world experiences, industrial tour in and outside the State is a regular practice of the Department. The Department frequently organizes workshops, seminars and Conferences to equip the students with necessary skills and attitude fit for the corporate world.
