Department of Computer Sciences

As a researcher in computational linguistics, I am passionate about developing computer systems that can understand, generate, and translate human language. My work also delves into the mathematical and algorithmic theories that underlie these systems. I specialize in designing statistical models and algorithms to extract valuable insights from text, enabling computers to excel in descriptive, predictive, and classification tasks. Notably, my research has focused on emotion analysis, sentiment analysis, and automatic text document summarization, strongly emphasizing developing deep learning models in Pytorch and employing various Python libraries for machine learning. 

I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Kashmir, India, and have over a decade of experience as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at South Campus, University of Kashmir. I have actively contributed to numerous projects throughout my career, including Sentiment Analysis, Emotion Analysis, Bootstrapping for Opinion Mining, Text Summarization, and Semantic Model Generation, both at SimplyPhi Software Solutions and the University of Kashmir.
