Department of Management Studies

Dr. Irfana Rashid is currently working as Senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Management
Studies, South Campus since the year 2012. She has completed her doctorate as a regular candidate from Department of
Business Administration, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU)-India. She has qualified the prestigious UGC-
NET, JRF and SRF competitive examinations. She has also completed the prestigious residential “Faculty
Development Programme” from IIM-Ahmedabad in the year 2017. She is also serving as a consultant and evaluator of different Startup Ventures. Currently, she is also serving as a Nodal Officer in NewGen IEDC (University of Kashmir). She has attended and presented

research papers in various national and international conferences. Her publications figure in various
national and international journals of repute including the journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science.
She is actively working on sponsored research projects.She has organized number of workshops and
conferences for the students and scholars of the Campus.

Teaching Interests: Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship Development and Research Methodology
Research Interests: Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, Community Well-being and Development.
