Ashraf does research in World Literature, Translation Studies, Comparative Studies, Urdu Literature and English Literature. He is also Associate Editor for a translation Project of Dr. Ambedkar Foundation, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India, for the translation of Collected Works of Dr B R Ambedkar from English to Urdu.
