The Post Graduate Department of Computer Sciences, South Campus, University of Kashmir was established in the year 2009 with an endeavour to cherish and groom the required talent and skill in the students heading their way to the technology era. The aim of education at South Campus is to enable students to acquire specialized scientific knowledge, as well as provide a basis for their personal, social and cognitive development.
The Department is well equipped with state-of art facilities for students comprising of two networked computer laboratories, housing about 50 computer systems. Besides the Department has got a very good internet connectivity and round the clock and uninterrupted power supply. A rich collection of latest magazines, journals, books related to various fields of Computer Technology are available in the departmental library.
