The Research Centre South Campus was founded by the University of Kashmir in April, 2021. This Centre is meant for research in Languages, Business Studies, Computer Sciences and Educational Studies. As a freestanding centre headed by the senior most faculty member of the campus, it will strive to conduct original and updated research in various disciplines. The researchers and the scholars will come from diverse backgrounds ranging from Computer Sciences, Management, Teacher Education, and Engineering for conducting research which has an academic and societal relevance.
Objectives:
- To be a state-of-the-art research centre and cater to diverse areas of contemporary research.
- To support multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research across different fields of study.
- To design and provide a platform for quality research by adhering to the highest ethical standards and professional practices.

- To work and collaborate with other premier national and international research institutes of great repute and to carve its own niche on the research map of the university.
