The health center of the South Campus, organized a mega free medical camp in the Campus for its students and employees on 16th June, 2022. The medical team comprised of twelve doctors of varied expertise including General medicine, Psychiatry, Gynecology and Dentistry visited the Camp. The Camp was inaugurated by the Director of the Campus, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad Khanday. In his keynote address Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad Khanday elaborated the importance of holding such Camps and expressed his gratitude to the visiting team. Dr. Khanday also extended his gratitude to the Principal, GMC Anantnag for his kind support in facilitating the Medical Camp. A reputed senior dental surgeon, Dr Aadil Wani from GMC Anantnag, introduced the visiting team and pressed upon the importance of health care awareness among the people. At the end of the inaugural session, Dr. Mohammad Ibrahim, Convener Health Center, lead the doctors team to the checkup hall, where the doctors proceeded for the delivery of their services. A huge number of students as well as employees actively participated in the Camp for medical consultation throughout the day.
