The South Campus Knockout Cricket Tournament was inaugurated at the South Campus, University of Kashmir, High Ground, Anantnag on November 04, 2025 (Tuesday). The event was graced by Dr. Syeed Fakhrudin Hamid, IAS, District Development Commissioner, Anantnag, who served as the chief guest and inaugurated the tournament.

The event marks the beginning of a T-20 Cricket Fever among different cricket teams belonging to various Districts of South Kashmir. Organized by the South Campus, University of Kashmir, the tournament aims to encourage youth participation in sports and foster a vibrant campus sports culture.
