    • 77th Independence Day Celebrations at South Campus


    KU'S south campus celebrates 77th Independence Day
     
    Anantnag, Aug 15: Kashmir University's South campus, Anantnag  on Tuesday celebrated 77th Independence Day  with great pride and patriotic fervour. 
     
    The national event was attended by faculty, non-teaching staff and students with great enthusiasm and determination. 
     
    Director, south campus, Prof. Raies Ahmad Qadri, hoisted the National flag today   at the administration block.
     
    Prof. Raies Ahmad later addressed the gathering, wherein he invoked the idea of the Hon'ble Prime Minister to make India a developed country by 2047. 
     
    He further said that 77th independence day culminates the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, which was launched by Hon'ble Prime Minister, Shri.  Narendra Modi from Sabarmati Ashram in Gujrat on March 12, 2021.
     
    The programme was coordinated by Assistant Director, Physical Education, Tausif Bhat.
