The faculty and administrative staff of the South Campus, University of Kashmir accorded a warm farewell to the former Director, Dr. Ashfaq Ahmed Zarri for being appointed as Registrar at BGSBU, Rajori.
Assistant Registrar, faculty members and Coordinators of departments and administrative staff were present during the farewell function.
Speaking on the occasion, Sr. Assistant Prof.Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Bhat hailed the contribution of Dr. Ashfaq Ahmed Zarri in developing and strengthening the Campus. He said that under the directorship of Dr. Ashfaq Ahmed Zarri, the Campus has made a remarkable progress in all fields.
Assistant Prof. Dr. Javaid Iqbal, described Dr. Ashfaq Ahmed Zarri as a humble person. He said it was due to the strenuous efforts of Dr. Ashfaq Ahmed Zarri that the Campus has made remarkable progress.
Coordinators of other departments and Administrative staff while speaking on the occasion also highlighted the commendable role played by Dr. Zarri in taking the Campus to newer heights and termed the period of his leadership as the Golden time for South Campus.
Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Ashfaq Ahmed Zarri thanked the faculty members and administrative staff for their unflinching support in the development of the Campus. He termed his stint in the South Campus as a memorable one.
